ABSTRACT

Based on the literatures published from January 1994 to December 2008 on chronic respiratory diseases treated by the therapy of “Dongbing-Xiazhi” (which means treating diseases occurred in winter but treated in summer),the time, region, specific therapies, herbs, and acupoints of these literature were reviewed end analyzed by bibliometric methods to explore its distribution and trends. The research showed that the therapy was effective and widely used in recurrent chronic respiratory diseases. It also demonstrated that such studies as focusing on the scientific design and the mechanism were needed.

ABSTRACT

Objective To establish the method of content determination of Piperine in Biba Zhitong Tincture. Methods HPLC was adopted in determining the content of piperine in Biba Zhitong Tincture.C18 chromatographic column was used with the column temperature being the room temperature. The mobile phase was tetrahydrofuran-methanol-water(V∶V∶V=30∶30∶50)with the velocity of 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelength was 343nm,and the sampling volume was 10?L.External standard method was chosen for content calculation. Results The inner peak area of piperine(8.3~41.5 mg/L)showed fine linear relation with mass concentration of control group. Its regression equation was A=3413186?-7467.7,r= 0.999 8,with the average recovery ration being 99.7%,and RSD=1.8%(n=6).Conclusion The method is simple, convenient, good reproducibility and non-interference,and can effectively control the quality of the preparation.

ABSTRACT

AIM: To establish the fingerprint chromatogram of Hongjingtian Injection ( Rhodiola kirilowii (Regel.) Maxim. METHODS: HPLC with YWG C 18 column was used, the (a)MeOH ACN(1∶1)、(b) 0.07% H 3PO 4 H 2O gradient elution as a mobile phase and detection wavelength at 278nm . RESULTS: 17 peaks were indicated on the HPLC fingerprint of Hongjingtian Injection. The relative retention time and relative peak area were obtained with itself peak. CONCLUSION: The method is simple and accurate with good reproducibility and can be used as a quality control method of Hongjingtian Injection.
